Shopping for clothes is one of my most favorite things to do! On my days off you would more than likely find me in the mall or Target. Then I discovered the ease of shopping online, and I was in shopaholic heaven. The crazy part of it, is that I rarely wear half of the things that I buy.
Working in a hospital sometimes puts a damper on my fashion game. The worst thing to happen to me was when my hospital switched over to navy blue scrubs. On my days off I find myself slipping into the same jeans and v-neck, or black leggings and an oversized sweater.
Fortunately, several scrub brands are working or making scrubs a bit more fashionable, so you don’t feel so frumpy at work. It’s so important for us to feel our best in this line of work. When we look good, we feel good, and when we feel good, we do good. I’ve bought a couple and it really makes a difference. I am also working on ‘getting dressed’ on my off days. From my gym clothes to my scrubs to the outfits I wear to church, I want to actually wear my clothes. Then maybe my mom will stop telling me to stop shopping!
Come with me as I share tips and secrets I’ve learned over the years, as well as hauls and where to find some of my favorites items, store and brands.
